The Science of IPL

IPL evidence for the treatment of dry eye with Jennifer Craig & Dr Brendan Cronin. A recent article in the prestigious journal - Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science explains the results from a double blinded, placebo controlled trial of IPL for meibomian gland dysfuntion.  The trial supports our clinical results with over 85% of patients having a huge improvement in the quality of the oil(lipid) layer of their tears.  It is great to see an emerging body of scientific evidence for this revolution in dry eye management.
